Job Description:

Are you looking for a challenging (entry-level) position as a Groundworker? Do you enjoy working outdoors, and do you have ambitions to live and work in Bonaire? Are you a hard worker and willing to commit for a longer period? Then this is the job for you. Within our company, we specialize in Infrastructure and Civil works, and you will be trained to become an independent groundworker. You will work on fixed projects in Bonaire. You will work alongside an experienced team of professionals who will teach you all the tricks of the trade step by step. This includes the following tasks:

• Digging trenches and laying tracks.
• Installing drains and pits.
• Carrying out renovation of sewers and managing house connections.
• Setting heights and assisting crane operators.
• Safety is the highest priority in your work.
• Possession of a Sedula/Passport or work permit.

Requirements:

• Vocational education level 2/3.
• Preferably holding a driver’s license.
• You have your own transportation to get to the headquarters.
• Proficiency in Papiamento (not mandatory), Dutch, Spanish, or English language verbally and possibly in writing.
• You can perform physical work, and you enjoy working outdoors.

Terms of Employment:

• Good starting salary of $1,750.00 gross per month (excluding vacation pay), depending on the experience you bring.
