Job description

Are you looking for a challenging (entry-level) position as a Groundworker? Do you enjoy working outdoors, do you have the ambition to live and work on Bonaire? Are you proactive and willing to work for an extended period? Then this is the job for you. Within our company, we specialize in Infrastructure and Civil works, and you will be trained to become an independent groundworker. You will work on fixed projects on Bonaire. You will work alongside an experienced team of professionals who will teach you all the tricks of the trade step by step. This includes the following tasks:

• Digging trenches and making tracks.
• Installing drains and pits.
• Carrying out renovation of sewers and providing house connections.
• Setting heights and preparing for crane operators.
• Safety is of the utmost importance in your tasks.
• Possession of a Sedula/Passport or work permit.

Requirements

• Vocational education level 2/3.
• Preferably holding a driver’s license.
• You have your own transportation to get to the headquarters.
• Proficiency in Papiamentu (not mandatory), Dutch, Spanish, or English language in speech and possibly in writing.
• You can perform physical work and enjoy working outdoors.

Employment conditions

• Good salary of up to $2400.00 gross per month (excluding vacation pay), depending on the experience you bring.
