Job description

As a Business Unit Manager, you are responsible for the overall (operational) management within HR Infra & Civil (including Bonaire Infra and Road Works). As part of the HR Group in the areas of sales, production, and operation. You ensure a pleasant and safe working environment and work together with other business unit managers to promote the growth and development of both the HR Group and the employees. You have good coaching leadership qualities and are involved in quality, planning, logistics, occupational health and safety, environment, and finance.

You are part of the management team and report to the management. Additionally, you work closely with other stakeholders in the areas of sales and finance. As a Business Unit Manager, you are jointly responsible for further objectives regarding the ambition for internationalization.

Requirements

• HBO/WO level of education
• Knowledge and experience of the (local) infrastructure and civil market
• Knowledge of the culture of Bonaire
• Proficiency in Dutch, both spoken and written, and proficiency in Papiamento or willingness to learn the language
• Broadly oriented with the desire to continue to grow and develop
• Entrepreneurial with a no-nonsense mentality
• Resolute and steadfast towards the objectives of the HR Group
• Authentic, accurate, analytical, and strategic

• Salary of up to $5,500.00 gross per month (excluding vacation pay), depending on the experience you bring
